The West Fraser Centre and Regency Chrysler
Downtown Quesnel is important to a lot of people. In an effort to make it better, the West Fraser Centre and Regency Chrysler are now working together after a large donation from the grateful Quesnel area car dealership. Learn more about the donation and what it means to Regency Chrysler.
Regency Chrysler’s commitment to giving back
Make no mistake, in our 30 years here in Quesnel, our customers, our employees, and our community have invested so much in us. Whether you have purchased a car from us, relied on us for service, or simply made sure we were a part of your car shopping experience, we are grateful for your time with us, and proud to call you all our friends and neighbors right here in Quesnel.
That is why we are so honored to provide $30,000 to our local community and help build the beautiful West Fraser Centre. That’s $1,000 for every year that we have happily called Quesnel, BC our home. We are always happy to do our part to make Quesnel a better place.
What is the West Fraser Centre?
Downtown Quesnel is about to get a new arena, and it will be called the West Fraser Centre. The arena will provide an NHL size ice surface, concessions, meeting rooms, and seating for up to 1,300 people. To make way for the new arena, Arena 1 has been demolished, but Arena 2 will continue to operate.
Construction of the new arena is expected to be complete in September of 2017. The official opening of the West Fraser Centre is currently scheduled for the weekend of September 16 and 17, though details beyond that are not yet available as planning for the event is still underway.
History of Regency Chrysler
Regency Chrysler first opened its doors here in Quesnel in 1987 under the leadership of Doug Beckman. Since then his business have grown and expanded, but Regency Chrysler still calls Quesnel its home. Not only has the Beckham family remained dedicated to their customers, but also their employees and their community.
In our time here, we have supported hundreds of local events, charities, and organizations. We have endured hardships right alongside this strong community, and we have also seen the community grow even more beautiful than it was 30 years ago. We hope to share many more years with you. Here’s to 30 more!
